Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cambridge, Chaleit is a specialist penetration testing and offensive security consultancy. The Group provides cyber security services spanning penetration testing, AI and language model security, cloud security, development security operations engineering, and cyber advisory, governance and compliance.
Since its establishment, Chaleit has built a profitable and cash generative business with an expanding international presence. Revenue increased from £1.74 million in FY25 to £2.11 million in FY26, while profit increased from £116,000 to £510,000. The Group had 47 clients in FY26, with client renewal rates exceeding 85 per cent.
Strand Hanson worked closely with Chaleit and its management team throughout the admission process, providing hands-on support and guidance at each stage. From the early preparation and positioning of the business through to coordinating the wider adviser group and navigating the requirements of an AIM admission, the team worked alongside Chaleit to help manage the process through to completion. That close working relationship continues following Admission, with Strand Hanson supporting the Company as its Nominated and Financial Adviser as it begins life as an AIM-quoted business.
The admission to AIM marked an important milestone in Chaleit’s development, providing the Company with a public markets platform and additional financial flexibility to support its organic growth strategy, including further investment in its sales and delivery capabilities.
Professor Dan Haagman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chaleit, commented:
“Strand Hanson was an excellent partner throughout our admission to AIM. The team guided us through what was a new and complex process with a hands-on approach, and their experience of the AIM market was invaluable at each stage.
“We particularly valued the accessibility of the team and the close working relationship we developed throughout the process. We are delighted to have reached this important milestone and look forward to continuing to work with Strand Hanson as a listed business.”
James Spinney, Managing Director at Strand Hanson, commented:
“It has been a pleasure working with Dan, Jody and the wider Chaleit team on the Company’s admission to AIM. Chaleit has built an impressive, profitable and cash generative business in a sector with compelling long-term growth drivers.
“AIM provides a strong platform for the next stage of the Company’s development, and we look forward to continuing to support the team as Chaleit grows as a quoted company.”
